Public Enemies trailer

Dearest Johnny Depp, where have you been hiding? He's been on hiatus since 2007's Sweeney Todd, so I can't wait to see him in Michael Mann's new film Public Enemies, which is set to hit theaters this summer. Depp plays John Dillinger, a Depression-era bank robber, in this true story film adaptation.

Dillinger was a number one priority of J. Edgar Hoover's (played by Billy Crudup) FBI in the 1930s. Christian Bale plays Hoover's top agent Melvin Purvis, and Academy Award winner Marion Cottillard plays Dillinger's girlfriend Billie Frechette .

Well, we all know how the story ends, but it'll sure be fun seeing these great actors take on the characters on July 1.
