Tickets for Tennessee Williams' A Streetcar Named Desire at The Kennedy Center starring Cate Blanchett went on sale today. The Sydney Theater Company's production of the play is arriving in Washington, D.C. on October 29 through November 21 in the Eisenhower Theater.The Pulitzer-prize winning play is directed by Liv Ullmann. One of my favorite actresses, Blanchett (of Elizabeth and The Curious Case of Benjamin Button), stars as southern belle Blanche DuBois.
Tickets range from $25 to $90. I got my Orchestra section tickets this morning! There are also a few $25 tickets available at the box office, which is an amazing deal for good balcony seats.
