[Scott Gries/Getty Images Entertainment] Australian actor Xavier Samuel is going to join the cast of Eclipse as Riley, a newborn vampire. Eclipse is the third novel in Stephenie Meyer's Twilight saga. Riley is the vampire created by the evil Victoria to destroy Bella after her love, James, was killed in Twilight.
There were whispers for a while that Channing Tatum might play Riley. Samuel has been in several Australian films, but this will be his American film debut. Not too shabby!
I'm reading Eclipse again now. It's my third favorite book in the series. The movie is set to begin filming in August. Yesssss!
