Renee Zellweger to become Bridget Jones again

[Universal Studios]

Renee Zellweger will play the role of the British heroine Bridget Jones once more, according to Variety. The saga for Miss Jones to find love and happiness will continue after the first two films in 2001 and 2004, Bridget Jones' Diary and Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason.

The film will be based on some columns written for The Independent by author Helen Fielding. Miss Jones will now be 40ish and trying to get pregnant. Will she be able to decide between the sweet, lovable Mark Darcy (Colin Firth) and Daniel Cleaver (Hugh Grant), the cheating womanizer? This seems like a no-brainer to me!

I love these movies. My only annoyance with them was that they made Zellweger absolutely look terrible - awful outfits and horrible makeup (or lack of). Maybe they'll improve on that for the third installment. Filming is set to start at the end of the year.
