Sunny yellow coats

[southmoonunder.com]

On my must list for fall/winter is a bright yellow coat. There are several fabulous and affordable ones to choose from. Any of these will brighten up a chilly fall day right on through to the bleak days of winter.

BB Dakota, Wool Herringbone Coat, South Moon Under, $138 (above)
This soft yellow color is so pretty. I love the oversized collar and off-center buttons. The wool/viscose coat is a great length too - appropriate for work or play. Plus, the price is amazing.

Stadium Cloth Winnie Jacket,
J.Crew, $248
This gold crest buttons on this a-line jacket is adorable. Nautical-inspired pieces are still in this season. It's a wonderful weekend jacket to wear with denim.

Cropped Pea Coat, Forever 21, $39.80
This mustard pea coat with a peter-pan collar is so cute and inexpensive. Since it has three-quarter sleeves it works well for fall, but it'll also look just as good with long sleeves peeking out.

Tabitha, Serin Song Jacket, Anthropologie, $118
This soft-wool, open canary jacket is perfect for fall. I envision it with a black turtleneck and a skirt or over dresses with tights.
